Bee patient - NOT amateur radio
This morning, I tried to take a photo of a bee on a thistle. I waited and waited, but the bee refused to make itself visible. In the end I gave up! The bee is the black blob in the right hand thistle. Well, I tried.

Kind bee - NOT amateur radio
There was a bee on this daffodil when we went out yesterday and one there when we got back. It may even be the same one!
My wife took this photo yesterday.

Bee friendly - NOT amateur radio
On our walk yesterday I was joined by a friendly bee. I think he thought my yellow jacket was a plant with nectar.
At one point he climbed on my hand.

Ickworth (National Trust) - NOT amateur radio
Today, we went to Ickworth near Bury St Edmunds hoping to see the wild flower meadow in all its glory. What a total disappointment.
It looked as if, this year, they just did not bother. Afterwards we were told they were trying to fully restore the walled garden to as it once was. Does that mean vegetables next year? Luckily we spotted a bee, as the photo shows.

Bee Swarm - NOT amateur radio
Yesterday was hot and sunny, so we went to Oxburgh Hall, Norfolk. The repairs are still going on and they could last 3 years. Whilst there, there was a bee swarm on the wall just to the right of the bridge into the Hall. They looked pretty docile.

Busy bee - NOT amateur radio
This afternoon we visited the walled garden at Felbrigg Hall in Norfolk. This bee was busy collecting pollen.

Bee - NOT amateur radio
Yesterday, for a change in East Anglia, we had sunshine most of the day. Since the start of May it has been cloudy although a lot of the UK has been bathed in sunshine. Anyway, we decided to eat outside. A bee decided to take a fancy to my blue shirt. It was there for about 10 minutes.

Nesting bees - NOT amateur radio
These bees were spotted yesterday at Brampton Wood, UK in a hole in a tree. A few hundred there?
There were lots of bluebells out too.
The bees were on the RHS path going around the edge about 400m from the car park. There were several warnings of nesting bees, but they did not bother us at all.

Bee (at Anglesey Abbey) - NOT amateur radio
We went to nearby Anglesey Abbey, expecting the dahlias to be well out. Sadly, they are not out in the usual dahlia bed in great numbers. They need a few more weeks.
We saw plenty of bees.
