Grove or copse? - NOT amateur radio

The photo shows me at nearby Anglesey Abbey this morning.  A few years ago they planted some silver birches which have now matured. I am unsure if this should be called a grove or copse. Apparently according to Paul (see comments) it is a grove.

As a grove generally means there is no underbrush, I suggest that grove would be the more proper term. Additionally, it seems implied that a copse is a naturally occurring group while a grove may be planted.

PS: I do appreciate your postings and have been for quite some time. Finally taking the time to reply to something so you know there are indeed readers lurking out here :) Cheers!
