630m WSPR RX (Sunday)

Once again I am monitoring 630m WSPRnet appears not to be working so I am monitoring WSPR Rocks instead. I shall leave the RX on overnight although most spots are before midnight. G0MRF is again a  good signal and DC0DX is coming through as is G6AVK.

Does anyone like President Trump?

This is far from a scientifically significant observation.

For months I have been looking for videos in support of the US President Trump. Despite trying really hard almost all videos seem critical of him.

I know that YouTube uses algorithms to show you more videos of the type you enjoy .  However, the vast majority seem to be critical.

In my view (only my view) President Xi of China is right that China is in the ascendancy and the USA appears to be a declining force on the world stage. I get the feeling that many in the world are treating the USA almost as a joke.

Personally I find this sad. All the people from the USA I have ever had to deal with have been kind and generous.

Is Russia going dark?

A very interesting metric of economic activity in Russia is to look at the nighttime lighting in Russia.
