Swans - NOT amateur radio
These swans are very determined.
Until quite recently, builders were making a facility for National Grid (electricity) storage batteries within a few metres! It is good to see them trying again rebuilding their nest.

Swan on nest - NOT amateur radio
"Well we have nested here for years and we are NOT moving just because there is a building site 3m behind us!".
Swans seen on our walk earlier.

Young swans - NOT amateur radio
On our return from Cambridge we got stuck behind a tractor, so we took a detour and chanced upon these young Mute Swans and a few ducks. They look like this year's young losing their grey feathers and starting out with white ones.

Swans - NOT amateur radio
A few days ago we went for a walk at nearby Anglesey Abbey and saw these mute swans near the water mill. They are always there. In the summer the flowers are out in the herbaceous border, although at this time of year they look dead.
As mentioned before, things are much later this year.
