Kings Lynn port - NOT amateur radio
As mentioned yesterday, Kings Lynn was one of the most important ports in England centuries ago when it was a Hanseatic League port.
These days, it would appear to be mainly a few fishing boats.

King's Lynn - NOT amateur radio
This is a fine town with lots of old buildings. At the same time it is very working class. I like it. It is worth a visit.
The photo shows the Custom House and the statue of George Vancouver.

King's Lynn - NOT amateur radio
This is a strange town with some fine old buildings. We visited there yesterday.
These days, it is a very working class town.
In years gone by it was a very important trading port quite close to the North Sea.

Vancouver statue - NOT amateur radio
We live about 1 hour from Kings Lynn in Norfolk.
On the quay is a statue of George Vancouver as shown in the photo taken some years ago at this time of year.
