Did we really have holidays? - NOT amateur radio
This photo shows a crab lunch (excellent) we had last September when we were in North Norfolk.

Post holiday blues - NOT amateur radio
Having just returned from a great holiday in Portugal we have the usual problems. Empty fridge, long grass, loads of washing and lots of post. To cap it all it is now raining and my 10m, 20m and 40m end-fed antenna has fallen down! Ho hum! I managed to cut the front lawn, but not the back.

Quiet lane - NOT amateur radio
When on holiday last week at Home next the Sea in Norfolk we had glorious weather. Most mornings we did a walk before breakfast.

Back home - NOT amateur radio
After our travels in the Baltic, we are now back home again. It was a good trip, but too many short stays in hotels, so we seemed always to be living out of cases!

Back from holiday - NOT amateur radio
We are back from our week in Corfu. I did a blog to help us remember things in years to come. It is surprising what you forget.

Back from holiday - NOT amateur radio
As you can see I have returned from a week in Corfu on holiday. Although I had some internet, I was unable to update the blog, so I missed the last week. If previous "absences" are anything to go by, it takes several days before people notice I am back. At this time of year Corfu starts to cool down a bit. It was still hot and sunny most of the time but we did have a few storms. Corfu is among the greenest of the Greek islands with views that are truly great, although I still think the South Hams beats them all.

Away
Sorry there were no posts yesterday, but we were away for a couple of nights at Little Walsingham in Norfolk. Back today and I have been on WSPR on 10m and 6m since about 1215z.
Little Walsingham is a delightful Norfolk village a few miles south of the North Norfolk coast. Little Walsingham is well known for its shrines which are a focus for pilgrimages.
There are a few shops in the village selling what can best be described as "religious tat": over-priced rubbish probably made by slaves in China. If you want kitsch these shops are the place. Most of the village though is quaint old houses and lovely.
