Overnight Saturday/Sunday we had one of our granddaughters sleeping here. 

All the grandchildren are growing up (too) fast!

Highlight of Christmas - NOT amateur radio

There’s no doubt that the highlight for us this Christmas, and our moment of greatest pride, was seeing our youngest granddaughter performing ballet in front of 2 future UK kings and many royal and other guests in Westminster Abbey in Kate’s carol service.

If it was me I would have been extremely nervous. She was not at all!

This afternoon we went to nearby Bury St Edmunds with 2 of our grandchildren. One insisted on reproducing a photo from 2016. 

Before and after are shown in the photo. It was taken in the Abbey Gardens that were a riot of colour. 

Bury seemed normal i.e like it was pre-pandemic.

Look carefully at the left picture you will see she insisted on wearing odd shoes!
