Bracket fungus - NOT amateur radio
We saw this on Monday on a log at Hare Park, Chippenham, near Cambridge. It is called a bracket fungus and is about 20cm across. It looks like a flat disc.

Fungi - NOT amateur radio
Yesterday, we did a nice walk at Anglesey Abbey near Cambridge where we saw this log and fungi. Some years ago this was a tall tree with a hornet's nest. I think it was felled as it was rotten.

What is this? - NOT amateur radio
On our walk yesterday we saw this. It looks like sheep's wool but isn't. It was on a muddy path. Is it some sort of fungus? This was in the UK (East Anglia).

Fungus - NOT amateur radio
This is the season when odd fungi appear. It must be the autumn chill and dampness in the air. This afternoon we went for a stroll at Brandon Country Park where this fungus was growing on a fallen tree trunk.

Fungus - NOT amateur radio
At the weekend, this tree in Norwich was covered in this fungus. On the grass were hundreds of smaller toadstools as well.
