East Anglian Churches blog - NOT amateur radio
When I was fitter we visited many churches in East Anglia, I kept a blog so we could later recall those visited. It is some while since this was updated, so an aim for 2024 must be to visit some more and update this blog.

East Anglian Churches Blog - NOT amateur radio
For many years I wrote a blog about the East Anglian churches we had visited. For several years we have been unable to visit new ones, but I hope to visit more this year.
Our grandson has rung bells in 11 different towers now. He rung in the one in the photo (Isleham) this morning.

Village churches - NOT amateur radio
The photo shows the churches in our village. Only 2 are still in use as churches. Like pubs, many are now private houses.

East Anglia - NOT amateur radio
We have well over 1000 medieval churches in our part of the world. Some are real gems. With aging and falling congregations it is far from clear how these will be maintained in future years. At the moment most are looked after and many are open.
Whatever you are a Christian believer (or not), these are well worth a visit. We are lucky as most are less than 90 minutes drive away. We try to visit many of these and those we do I record in another blog. See http://eachurches.blogspot.co.uk/ .

Church blog addition - NOT amateur radio
See http://eachurches.blogspot.co.uk/
This now includes Mildenhall in Suffolk. Supposedly, the largest church in Suffolk according to Simon Knott who knows a few things!

East Anglian Churches - NOT amateur radio
Today we visited a couple of Suffolk churches and I have updated the East Anglian Churches Blog with one of them - Denston in Suffolk. Although small, it is a gem.

Churches blog updates - NOT amateur radio
Today we visited the delightful Norfolk town with its
greens and fine Georgian houses of Hingham. Hingham is a few miles from Attleborough on the road from Norwich to Watton.
We ate lunch at the Lincoln Tea Shoppe and Bistro which is across the main Norwich-Watton road from the church and just off Fairgreen. On the way there and back we visited several churches and I have updated the church blog to include this.
Earlier this week we returned to Dalham church so I have updated the entry last February for Dalham too.

Churches blog updated - NOT amateur radio
Last week we visited Blythburgh and Ufford Churches. Both are near Aldeburgh on the east coast where this famous shell statue is located. I have updated
the East Anglian Churches blog to include these churches. I may add further
photos and text later.

Not amateur radio - new blog
Today I started a new blog to keep a record of our visits to churches in East Anglia. We hope to visit quite a few through the year.Although the new blog is public it is primarily a record for our own use, so any inappropriate comments will be removed.
At one time we planned a full website on this subject when we retired but a blog seems more appropriate
