Cambridge bookshop - NOT amateur radio

When I first moved to Cambridge in 1970 there were loads of bookshops. With people choosing to buy online there are now far fewer. 

The photo shows one that has remained. One wonders for how long?

Heffers, Cambridge - NOT amateur radio

In recent years, "physical" bookshops have had a hard time as more of us buy books online. The biggest in Cambridge is Heffers in Trinity Street. Recently they have had a makeover. 

When I came to Cambridge first in 1970 much of the stock was academic books. In those days the internet was still to come!

Oldest British bookshop - NOT amateur radio

There has been a bookshop here on this site in Cambridge since 1581.  

It is the oldest bookshop in Britain.
