Simple QRP projects, 10m, 8m, 6m, 4m, FT8, 160m, WSPR, LF/MF, sub-9kHz, nanowaves and other random stuff, some not related to amateur radio.
In a few moments I propose to try 160m FT8 in the evening and overnight with my earth electrode antenna in the ground.
In theory the loop should get better as the frequency decreases and the skin depth increases.
UPDATE 1613z: My RX was turned at about 1605z. No spots.
The USA has evacuated all its bombers from RAF Fairford. It looks like their intelligence has indicated a possible terrorist threat, presuma...
