This came from a local friend yesterday.
"Your crystal ball is working well. I rang the telephone number on the Waters & Stanton website and was told by Mr Fortune that Nevada Radio and Waters & Stanton had now combined and were trading under the Moonraker name and from the same W&S place near Woburn Sands."
I think we could all read the runes. In the future we can expect fewer dealers and fewer ads in magazines and probably fewer mags or smaller mags.
In the last 20 years look at what has happened to radio mags on sale!

Judging by the content in the latest Practical Wireless, that won't be long for the dump neither!

Don’t forget that the quality of magazine articles are only as good as the submissions.
Nothing In = Nothing Out!
My concern is magazines only exist (ultimately) to make profits for the owners and advertisers. Yes, the quality of the articles is very important, but without income from advertisers they will go. There is a great danger of the only independent magazine still available on the shelves of (some) UK newsagents could go. If that happens, how will people "come across" ham radio?
As I have said many times before, if they ALL go, GQRP SPRAT will be my last to go.
Yep Sprat is the best in my book..
