Yesterday I went on 4m for the activity contest and on FT8.
My conclusion is 4m is underused, at least outside the Es season. If you are thinking about getting on 4m you might be disappointed.
Simple QRP projects, 10m, 8m, 6m, 4m, FT8, 160m, WSPR, LF/MF, sub-9kHz, nanowaves and other random stuff, some not related to amateur radio.

My 10mW ERP from the earth-electrode "antenna" in the ground was turned on at about 1910. So far, spotted by just G6AVK (78km).

I was on 4m yesterday. Only made 1 QSO within PA. There was no real propagation. I saw Malta calling but had no luck contacting him. 73, Bas
