Amsterdam breakfast
This was breakfast last week in Amsterdam. There seems to be a lack of fruit there, which surprised us.

Simple QRP projects, 10m, 8m, 6m, 4m, FT8, 160m, WSPR, LF/MF, sub-9kHz, nanowaves and other random stuff, some not related to amateur radio.
My 500mW stand-alone 10m WSPR beacon has been on since this afternoon. So far, 13 stations have spotted me.

Typical dutch hotel breakfast Roger. Real dutch breakfast is completely different. It also depends on were you eat breakfast. I remember when in Greece it was common to get fruit at breakfast. Sometimes I think we as Dutch don't know what is healthy anymore, besides that fruit is very expensive here at times. 73, Bas
Yes, we had lots of fruit in Corfu. I am always surprised with lots of flowers and glasshouses the Dutch don't do far more fruit. They certainly could. Having said that, I really enjoyed my breakfasts in the Netherlands!
Most of the Dutch fruit and vegetables are for export. Most of what you find in the supermarket here comes from Spain and Portugal. The wheat you see growing on the Dutch fields is for export and feeding animals. Our bread is made from wheat imported from Brazil. It's a strange world.... 73, Bas
