My QRP 8m FT8 on 40.680 MHz USB dial has already been spotted by 2 stations in Iberia. It is only 1015z. Still just using the FT817ND and a low wire dipole.

My little beacon was turned on at about 0910z. No spots of me yet at 0921z.

Hi Roger, conditions were open from around 0800z this morning(using the 46.4 and 46.95 MHz meteor data comms from the UK as a reference). G4APB was in several times via WSPR on 40.013MHz. There does seem to be a falloff in people using the band.
