In a few moments I hope to go on 10m FT8 again. My usual pattern is a few times on 2.5W FT8 TX followed by RX for most of the time.
Simple QRP projects, 10m, 8m, 6m, 4m, FT8, 160m, WSPR, LF/MF, sub-9kHz, nanowaves and other random stuff, some not related to amateur radio.

Hi,
What transceiver have you got?
I have got the FT817 and have read that to only use half of the maximum power 2.5W for certain digital modes depending on duty cycle as it could damage the finals.
I would like to try FT8 sometime.

Mostly I use my 500mW WSPR TX beacon by W5OLF. This is on 100% of the time, but changes frequecy every slot. It seems fine all day.
