My beacon has been on since about 1115z. UPDATE 1607z: 12 stations have spotted me. See table. UPDATE 2138z: QRT

But to be the first that crossed the Atlantic with nothing but a spark, and a coherer at the receive end as the detector, quite something. I wish I had been there to have heard the first signals
Then go on, for his equipment to send the message CQD from the Titanic and help save several hundred and prove it all had worth..
