FT4 - not tried

Although I love FT8, I have a confession to make: I have never tried FT4!

At some point, I must do so. It is much faster than FT8, but probably not as good on very weak signals. I don't know about Doppler, but I suspect it might be better on very brief Es openings.

I do some FT4 once and a while. The sensetivity is horrible. Don't expect stable decodes once you are below -10dB. I've seen and made QSOs with -22dB on a very quiet 10m band. FT8 is a bit slower but more reliable. 73, Bas
