UK Pound up - NOT amateur radio
Although I am at a loss to understand why, the UK Pound is up against almost all major currencies. Against the US Dollar and the Euro, yes, but the rest too?

I know that the US dollar took a hit a few days ago and when it drops, most other currency gets stronger for awhile....maybe that's what has happened?
I think that a lot of currencies are tied (more or less loosely to, either the Dollar or the Euro, so that when the Pound gains value against those, it follows suit. I know for sure that Danish Kroner are tied to the Euro.
