Sunspots and 10m - Monday October 17th 2016
Solar flux is 80 today and sunspot number 25. K=3 . Yet again the forecast for 10m F2 is "poor".

Simple QRP projects, 10m, 8m, 6m, 4m, FT8, 160m, WSPR, LF/MF, sub-9kHz, nanowaves and other random stuff, some not related to amateur radio.
Tomorrow, I plan to try FT8 with my IC-705. Up to now I have used other rigs. I did do this with the first IC-705 I owned. As I recall there...

Hello Roger.
NOT SUNSPOTS but something I know, from previous postings, will be of interest to you.
You thought they were long gone ? So did I. Well, yesterday a Swift was recorded flying over a lake in Staffordshire.
Much less of a surprise I saw a Swallow near Conwy on Saturday afternoon ( also, six Great White Egrets).
Keep looking up Roger.
Kind regards.
John - GW3OIN.
Thank you John. Swifts this late are rare indeed.
