Today, whilst checking my eQSLs I noticed one from an HA station for a 2m SSB QSO. This QSO never took place! This would have to be Es and I have never worked Es on 2m. It may be a band error or someone just hoping I would not check the log so he would get a credit for G on 2m SSB. Please note DO NOT try to claim for QSOs that did not take place. I check and this is FRAUD. I'll have no part in this.
Simple QRP projects, 10m, 8m, 6m, 4m, FT8, 160m, WSPR, LF/MF, sub-9kHz, nanowaves and other random stuff, some not related to amateur radio.

Yes,could be but I doubt this. I hope a genuine callsign mistake.
Get a lot of eQSL from contacts never made. Some people just try. 73, Bas
It could be an honest mistake, when I get NIL eQSL I check to see if there's maybe a QSO with that station on another band at that time, or one different letter in the callsign, etc. Usually I can trace it, not that many people try to get fake confirmations.
YO9IRF - I tend to agree, thinking it is an error rather than someone trying to act fraudulently.
