The 200mW beacon was turned on at about 1900z. UPDATE 1948z: Many spots of me by EA8BFK (2880km). At the peak I had about 28dB in hand!

Well done Roger
Are MRF237's i easy to obtain?
You should manage a good signal all over
Cambridge with 2 to 3 watts.
Kind regards
Tony
Tony, I'm not sure about the availability of the MRF237 and just used it as it was in the junk box, as was the ZTX327 driver.
Tony, the MRF237 is equivalent to the SD1127 and these are available on eBay.
Thanks for the tip Roger.
All the best with your on air testing
KR Tony
