Just for fun, I've put a very short video of the G3XBM operating "shack" (actually a corner of the smallest bedroom) onto YouTube. It shows the current set-up of homebrew and commercial equipment in use as well as the 500kHz transverter. I do most of my construction elsewhere.

Hello Roger, that's a very neat shack corner in your bedroom. My xyl wouldn't let me... I prefer to work late at night. I have a small corner in the living. Which lead to comments like: do you have CB radio? Then I have to explain what amateur radio is. Congrats with your super DX into VK with WSPR. 73 paul
Very neat, Roger. Mine's about the same size, and is also in the smallest bedroom, though it is really more of a cupboard with a window and there is no space for a bed in there.
Is that where you do all your construction? I'd probably do more if I had a dedicated place for it, but I have to push the computer out of the way to unroll the electrostatic mat and create a workplace and then put everything away afterwards.
Construction is done in my small lab in the back of the garage. It would be better in the house but no space.
Hey, I love the video, it is good to see the famous G3XBM 500kHz WSPR station in action. 72 Eldon
