 My gear was turned on at about 1430z.

UPDATE 1908z:  149 stations have spotted me. See map.

160m FT8 RX overnight

 Once again I was on 160m FT8 RX overnight. Plenty of European stations , but nothing across the pond.

2m FT8 RX (Wednesday)

This evening was the 2m FT8 activity contest. I monitored on RX with my big-wheel omni antenna.

UPDATE  2204z:  64 stations were spotted. See map. Now back monitoring 160m FT8 RX.

160m FT8 RX

At about 1650z I turned on my gear (IC-705 and earth-electrode "antenna" in the ground).  It will remain on until breakfast tomorrow.

UPDATE  2225z:  141 stations already spotted.

10m 1W FT8 (Wednesday)

My gear was turned on after breakfast.

UPDATE 1412z:  Spotted by 51 stations including 1 in the USA.

 Overnight I was on 160m FT8 RX. In total 261 stations, with the best RW0AR (5585km).

Autumn in the garden

Autumn has been late coming, but is definitely here now. 

We have an ornamental cherry which is really losing its leaves. 

We’ve shifted to “autumn-winter“ mode” !
