When this was first broadcast as a series on BBC TV in 1957, I recall being terrified. It was produced as a DVD and we are watching it agai...

Hi Roger, I think next year, half way the year 2010. Yesterday evening the 40 meter was crowded. Good conditions on 40 and 80 meter. Sounded like the old days. On the higher bands is nothing to do. 73, de Paul PC4T
An unpleasant thought is all the world's amateur radio operators confined to 80 and 160 meters. QRM here we come!.
LF conditions are often helped in the current low sunspot years. Radio amateurs are resourceful, so even if the spots never return (I expect they will before too long) then there will still be plenty to do - even 10GHz rain scatter if all else fails :-)
