All being well, I should start sending 8m FT8 from April 2nd on 40.676kHz (or close to it). I am also allowed to send CW. Some crossband QSOs are expected!

Congratulations, Roger! I’ll look for you on both FT8 and CW.
Roger -
Can you advise what power, modes, and total frequency bandwidth Ofcom have permitted you to use?
Regards,
Keith
5W ERP 40-42MHz any digital mode including CW with a bandwidth of less than 500Hz. Most of the time I shall use FT8 near 40.676MHz, agreeing with others the most appropriate frequency so that all on 8m FT8 can be found with a single USB setting, but avoiding interference. I may use CW for some local crossband QSOs. Licence start April 2nd for a year.
Thanks, Roger. Another person here in Lincoln is interested in listening for you once you get on the air.
Hi Roger, looking forward to trying some 8M experiments with you next month.
