Have your passwords been stolen?

Again Steve G1KQH has kept his ear to the ground:

Have your passwords been sold on?

Can we trust the Web any longer?

It may be a good time to update your passwords and make sure your security is solid. Touch wood, I have been using free Microsoft Security Essentials to protect my PC. It appears to do a good job even though I use Firefox.

Microsoft essentials has been proved to be useless in tests carried out in a computer magazine recently. I can confirm this is to be correct, my daughter had a problem on her laptop recently, but a scan proved to be negative with MS Essentials? So I switched to Avast and this confirmed 3 virus problems which it then went about and nulled and deleted them out. All was happy once again :-)

Avast comes out top in all the rating of the Free Antivirus packages, and doesn't have such a big overhead like AVG..
