Some have phobias about spiders. To me they are just fun.

Autumn visitor
This must have crawled up the plug hole. It was about 3cm long. I put it out the window.

In the bath
At this time of year, spiders are more common in the house in the UK. I guess the house is more inviting at this time of year.
Some hate spiders, but to me they are just fun.
This spider appeared in the bath this morning. It is about 5cm across. I think it is a giant house spider. It must have come up the plug hole.
In the UK, most spiders are totally harmless. I usually catch them in a glass and put them out of the window.

That spider yesterday - NOT amateur radio
The spider in the bath yesterday would appear to be a giant house spider that can grow to about 4 inches across (over 10cm) and move very fast.
As mentioned yesterday, spiders have never bothered me. I just put them out the window.

Spider in the bath - NOT amateur radio
Some people are very scared of spiders. Like most phobias, they are irrational, but for the sufferers very real.
Having been away for 8 days I am sure the big one in our bath last night must have had a field day. I put it outside. At this time of year we get plenty. As far as I know most UK spiders are harmless.

World Wide Web? - NOT amateur radio
This beautiful spider's web was seen at Anglesey Abbey this morning. Some people have a totally irrational fear of spiders. Certainly here in the UK they are mostly harmless. Like daddy longlegs, I think they are fun. We have quite a few in the bath at this time of year and we had one in the lounge a few days ago about 5cm (2 inches) long, if you include legs. These all get put out of the window.
