LinkedIn - NOT amateur radio

LinkedIn is useful to me to find out how old colleagues are doing. Occasionally, I get job offers. As an old man this is flattering.

Most weeks I get requests from people I don't know asking me to be their friend. These requests are ignored!

Linkedin and contacts I do not know - NOT amateur radio

Every week I get asked if I would like to connect someone I do not know! I am not sure why these people ask.

I only use Linkedin rarely and when I do it is usually to keep in touch with old work colleagues .

If I don't know you I will not connect with you ever.

LinkedIn - NOT amateur radio

Having been retired for 12 years now, I have no interest in getting another job. I use LinkedIn on occasions to see how people have aged. Some have hardly aged at all, whereas others have lost more hair or gone more grey!

I get really annoyed with connect requests from people I do not know at all! One person keeps popping up and asking me if I know him - well I do not!!!

If I was actively job hunting I can understand the need for networking. As a retired individual you would think their clever software would have a way to leave me alone.
