One of the pleasures of 365project, as I have said before, is having a "window on the world" as in this photo recently posted by a friend who lives in the Faroe Islands. I can imagine that it is often cold, wet and windy.

One of the things I like about 365project is seeing things and places from right across the world. 

Some places are much hotter whereas some (like the photo posted by a friend in the Faroe Is) are much colder. 

There was snow on the hills and temperatures of 4 degrees C in September! I expect they see the northern lights far more often up there.

All of this month we have had a big high pressure system with "anticyclonic gloom". 

Basically we have had cloud, mist and fog with no sun at all.  NE Scotland has had good weather by contrast. 

As this photo from a friend on 365project shows, they have had better weather in the Faroe Islands.

One of my friends on 365project.org lives in the Faroe Islands high up in the Atlantic between Scotland and Iceland. This is one of his photos.

I imagine there are long summer days and very short days in winter. The weather can be windy as well. It is a place I would like to visit, but doubt this will happen.

As mentioned before, one of the things I like about 365project (NOT at all connected with Microsoft) is seeing places I am never likely to visit, such as this view from a friend in these far-flung islands between Scotland and Iceland.

One of the things I enjoy about 365project is seeing other parts of the world. This photo recently appeared.

As I have said before, the idea is to post something every day. 

It is not connected in any way with Microsoft365. It is totally free although for a modest $19.99 a year you may have privacy and more albums. 

I have done it for about 13 years and love it. Some use it  to show their artistic talent. Others use it as a kind of visual diary. I am the latter!

These islands are between The Shetland Is and Iceland. They are very remote. A friend on 365project recently posted this photo.

These islands are located between the UK and Iceland. It must get very windy and cold. On 365project, one of my friends posted this view of the capital (Torshaven) on a sunny day. There is absolutely no association of 365project with Microsoft.
