On my blog is a link to buy me a virtual cup of coffee. This is entirely voluntary. 

However, very many thanks to those that have donated. Any money generated will go towards future projects/research. 

My wish is that you all have as much fun as I have had on your journey through the hobby. I have particularly enjoyed finding out new things and experimentation.

Two things : The journey is more important than the destination (learn from your mistakes) and you can have lots of fun without spending much.

In our house we do the housework jointly on a Monday. After this (mid morning) we enjoy a cup of coffee together.

Our son came to stay with his son and we were able to enjoy coffee in the garden.

Yesterday one of our granddaughters came 3rd out of 20 in a ballet contest. She wanted to demonstrate her moves whilst we enjoyed coffee in the mild October sunshine.

We have been getting the garden ready for winter planting winter flowering plants and bulbs. 

We enjoyed coffee outside, but for not much longer!

As it was warm and sunny this morning we had coffee in the garden for the first time this year. My wife also hung out some washing for the first time this year.

If time permits, I buy a coffee and bread roll at Pret a Manger in Cambridge on the way to my weekly lectures on Samuel Pepys. At £1.59 total this is excellent value.

I hate having to queue for coffee as it is being prepared. If you want this fine, but Pret always has low cost filter coffee on tap. The latter is fine for me.

Quiet Coffee - NOT amateur radio

Whilst my wife was busy spending, I opted for a coffee and sandwich in a Bury-St-Edmunds bookshop café reading one of the mags I'd just bought on a market stall.
