My 2.5W system has been on since about 0800z. So far, just English stations spotting me.

My gear was turned on at about 0800z.

6m QRP FT8 (Tuesday)

My 2.5W 6m FT8 was turned on at about 1245z. It looks like I caught a small patch of Es to Portugal. 

UPDATE 1826z:  Spotted VE1SKY (4730km) on 6m FT8 with the V2000 vertical omni antenna. Not sure if this was F2 or a brief patch of Es.  15 stations have spotted me today.

6m QRP FT8 (Monday)

Most of the morning I have been on 6m FT8 with my 2.5W QRP. Lots of Es (I think!).

6m QRP FT8 (Sunday)

My 2.5W 6m FT8 was turned on at about 0800z.

UPDATE 09510z:  14 stations have spotted me. 10 stations spotted on RX including several from southern Europe.

My QRP 6m FT8 was turned on about 0800z.

6m QRP FT8 (Wednesday)

My 2.5W 6m FT8 was turned on about 0800z. 

UPDATE 0843z:  Spotted by 9 English stations. It makes you think how useful 6m FT8 could be inter-G when the band is not "open". Also many of those spotting me so far are probably cross polarised and using horizontal antennas. Just one G spotted on RX.

UPDATE 1721z:  20 stations spotted.  One might be Es.

6m QRP FT8 (Tuesday)

My QRP 6m FT8 was turned on after breakfast.

UPDATE 0824z:  12 stations have spotted me. I think there is some Es.

UPDATE 0901z:  IS0AWZ (1598km) has spotted me. See map.

UPDATE 1521z: 24 Europeans plus one CN8 have spotted me so far today. See map.

6m QRP FT8 (Monday)

My 2.5W FT8 has been on most of the morning.

UPDATE  1032z:  So far, spotted by 14 stations mostly in England. The spots in Southern Eire and Norway could be Es.

UPDATE 1336z: Spotted by 19 stations. 

UPDATE 1814z:   28 stations have spotted me today including V51MA (8460km) in Namibia.  6m TEP? See map.

6m QRP FT8 (Sunday)

 My 6m 2.5W FT8 has been on most of the morning.

UPDATE 1117z:  Spotted by 29 stations mainly in the UK and northern Europe. 13 stations spotted here.

6m QRP FT8 (Wednesday)

This morning, my 2.5W FT8 to the vertical omni antenna is on 6m.  I am wondering, if as on 2m, I am tapping into some sort of troposcatter mode?

As well as the usual G spots I have been spotted in Sicily and Eire. FT8 works with signals even weaker than CW. I guess it could also be aircraft reflection?

UPDATE 1245z: 37 stations have spotted me on 6m FT8 and I have spotted 23. I think this is Es.

Plans for Wednesday

10m seems pretty good on FT8, so I shall learn little. Maybe I shall give 6m QRP FT8 a go?  As the 10m antenna won't be used I could put my 500mW 10m WSPR beacon on.

UPDATE 0806z:  10m QRP WSPR beacon and 6m QRP FT8 turned on at about 0800z. 3 Gs have spotted me on 6m FT8, but no spots of my 500mW 10m WSPR.

MSK144 on 50.280 MHz RX

G8SEI (131km) is the only station so far spotted on 6m this evening on MSK144. Although I am no expert in these matters, I thought I would try monitoring 50.280 MHz (Europe) during the night to see if I manage any copy during the Perseid meteor shower. I suspect G8SEI is being copied by normal tropo and not via MS!

6m QRP FT8 (Saturday)

Although, at 0835z, my 2.5W 6m FT8 has only been on about 10 minutes, already 10 spots of me with several being from Scandinavia. 

UPDATE 1044z:  40 stations have spotted me this morning.

6m QRP FT8 (Friday)

My 6m QRP FT8 was turned on at about 0740z. So far, 5 spots of me including a couple that look like Es.

UPDATE 0907z:  Spotted by 16 stations 

UPDATE 1242z:  42 stations have spotted me  today.

UPDATE 1845z:  53 stations have spotted me (see map).

UPDATE  2016z:  56 stations have spotted my 6m QRP FT8 in the last day. Now QRT.

6m QRP FT8 (Thursday)

My 2.5W 6m FT8 has been on all afternoon. So far, 6 stations have spotted me is CT1EOD (1688km). 15 stations have been spotted on RX all in Europe.

6m QRP FT8 (Wednesday)

My 2.5W FT8 was turned on about 0840z. I immediately was called by EI3GG/P on the west coast of Ireland. (IO43).  We had a QSO.

UPDATE 1730z:  So far, spotted by 45 stations. See map. I am intrigued that Scandinavian stations seem more common later in the season. I have speculated about this before.

6m QRP FT8 (Tuesday)

My 2.5W 6m FT8 is on again. Furthermost report is from UT9FJ (2277km) in Ukraine.

6m QRP FT8 (Monday)

My 6m 2.5W FT8 was turned on earlier. There seems to be encouraging Es about. 

It will probably be worth trying 8m later.

UPDATE 1056z:  37 stations have spotted me this morning. It is possible the EA8 and CT stations are F2 I suppose. It is even possible to see some TEP?
