In Christian traditions you go either to heaven or hell. In some religions you are re-incarnated.
With a world population approaching 8 billion there are many religions. Many have holy books. Most religions have some form of after-life.
If your body and mind just ceases to exist you may experience nothing, just as you were before you existed.
The truth is nobody really knows. As a youth I had a strong Christian faith. These days I am totally unsure.
