Early in my design career I was involved in the design of internal antennas. At the time Sinclair was developing a tiny TV and was considering a joint development on ICs.
At that time he asked me (yes me!!) for advice on antennas!
On the subject of Sinclair, I recall a Micromatic kit being donated as a raffle prize in our radio club dinner in the late 1960s. Anyone make one?

Not that, but I did build the radios in the Sinclair Radionics kits. They used components on plastic bases which fitted through a perspex board and the wiring was done using brass strips held on by nuts. I built diode detector , TRF and superhet ones as I learned more about it. He even described a transmitter but I could not get that to work. Just as well maybe.
He was certainly a genius of our time, but no business man.
That stupid pathetic dangerous car was his downfall, he should of stuck with computers.
