S50B reports he has been spotted on 8m in the USA this morning. It sounds like the E-W MUF went to 8m, which is promising.
I have gone on 40.680 MHz QRP FT8 TX (first) and RX hoping to be spotted in the USA.
UPDATE 1930z: No spots. QRT.
Simple QRP projects, 10m, 8m, 6m, 4m, FT8, 160m, WSPR, LF/MF, sub-9kHz, nanowaves and other random stuff, some not related to amateur radio.

Overnight I am monitoring 50.280MHz MSK144, hoping to catch some MS pings in the Leonid meteor shower. I think this is the most used frequen...

Hi Roger,
just to let you know I have been monitoring FT8 on 40.680mhz and not seen a single spot for many days. I have been putting out CQ calls too.
I am also running WSPr on multiple freqs on 8m, but no spots either. It seems our part of the country is totally dead at this freq lately. Can you get get holes in the ionosphere? It seems like it to me!
