Some were put on to 70cm.
They were 500mW transceivers with internal antennas. At the time they were novel and quite different from the usual PMR radio.
There is a page about them on my main G3XBM website.
Simple QRP projects, 10m, 8m, 6m, 4m, FT8, 160m, WSPR, LF/MF, sub-9kHz, nanowaves and other random stuff, some not related to amateur radio.
This is in Worcester Cathedral. John was not a good king. He died in 1216. He was immortalised in a children's poem by A.A.Milne.
