Typical Oscar 100 RX

This picture appeared today. It shows a typical Oscar 100 (geosynchronous) satellite RX. At some point I may have a go. It seems to be working well. I guess the trick is to dual feed the dish so both the 2.4GHz uplink and the 10GHz downlink share the same dish.

I'm confused. If you're only receiving, you would just need to get the downlink, right?

What is shown is a RX only setup. If serious about Oscar 100, I would want TX and RX, hence the comment about a dual feed single dish. For just RX only you can just use the webSDR. At the moment I am waiting and seeing.
