10m WSPR

As the HF antenna is available, I am on 10m WSPR TX (500mW). If I get any spots during the day it will be a bonus!

The beacon does not need a PC and is totally stand-alone. It is 100% TX but randomly changes frequency within the 200Hz window every 2 minutes. It has been on for about 20 minutes so far. No spots!

UPDATE 1830z: Still no spots. QRT soon.

I think the low number of stations using WSPR on 28 MHz might be a major factor. I see from looking at the WSPR site, there are only about 50 stations currently active (15:00 UTC) and only about 30 of those are in Europe.

In contrast, I have been listening on FT8 on 28 MHz all day and I have heard sigs from OZ to EA with PY, ZS and Z22 in there as well (52 stations heard in 12 hours).
