After the storms yesterday, I have returned to 10m WSPR and 6m JT65. After waiting for the PC to configure Windows updates, I turned on JT65 software and resynced to internet time.
UPDATE 0900z: Nothing so far on 10m WSPR and just G0LRD (25km) spotting me on 6m JT65. No Es or F2.

Hi Roger,
My 6m JT65 spotter is now on permanently (apart from the odd occasion when I want to take my FT-817ND out portable). Decoding is via WSJT-X on a Raspberry Pi, so the whole set-up consumes about 7W. Antenna is a Diamond V-2000 at 10m.

Thanks David. I am using the FT817 and a V2000 fed with RG58 coax (lossy!). I get better results from the UK on 6m JT65 than 10m WSPR. I believe this is due to activity levels.
