2016 challenge

With my voice still poor (stroke) and still the same few reappearing night after night on 472kHz, I think my challenge for 2016 will be to work as many countries as possible using JT65 and JT9-1 on HF. I have tried these modes before but as it is now integrated with WSPR in WSJT-X I really should give it a go.

If you haven't already got it, then I recommend JTAlert alongside WSJT-X as it makes it so much easier to decide who to respond to. I also use DXKeeper for logging and all three programs work well together.
Hope to hear you in 2016, I'm on 80m to 6m JT65 and JT9

Happy new year Roger.
For a real challenge how about the new award from QRP ARCI ?
This entails working the usual DXCC, but each contact must be made with a power output that would qualify for their One Thousand Miles per Watt Award. This must be about the ultimate QRP challenge. JT65 would be a good mode to use, provided only that there are sufficient numbers using this mode. I may give it a go using CW but I will have to think long and hard about my antenna situation.
Kind regards - keep up your interesting Blog.

Happy New Year, Roger.
I have just got WSJT-X installed and want to do some WSPR/JT65 and/or QRSS from here. But as my main activity I want to do some CW countries.
I agree with John above on the awards, that should be available as a possibility.
