It is hard to see why visits to this and my other Miscellaneous Musings general blog vary so much.
Today, for example, this blog had nearly 900 visits by breakfast time here, whereas yesterday it was less than half this number. It is not as if the content has changed that much. I try to put new content on both blogs regularly. If you have any ideas, please let me know.
Simple QRP projects, 10m, 8m, 6m, 4m, FT8, 160m, WSPR, LF/MF, sub-9kHz, nanowaves and other random stuff, some not related to amateur radio.

Roger...I have a couple of ideas regarding your early- morning high high hit rate....these may be reflecting evening viewer hits from North America, still reading your posts from the day....after you have gone to bed. As for the doubling of the rate...I think any time that a post has a link on it, and is clicked, it takes you away from the page...and depending on how things are configured, they may need to re-load the page when they come back, thus getting another registered 'hit'. If everyone did this once it would double the hit rate....just a thought.

Thanks Steve. You may be right. Last night the hit rate was exceptionally high, by comparison with normal days. Not sure if there were more links than usual yesterday.
