Canadian Rockies

For the last few days I've been in the Canadian Rockies. The scenery is truly the very best I've seen (inland) anywhere on Earth. The 300km drive today from Banff to Jasper had snow capped mountains and azure blue lakes and rivers all the way. Only seen 1 HF antenna so far and that was from the Rocky Mountaineer train from Vancouver to Banff.

Sounds like you are on a similar trip to the one I made last September. Great scenery. Are you also doing the Alaska cruise?

Watch out for bears around Jasper.

Victoria and Burchart Gardens on Vancouver Island is also a must see if you have the time.

No Alaska cruise, back home next week. I'm finding Canada and its friendly people so refreshing. Everyone is kind, friendly and helpful.

Hi Roger, enjoy your trip in VE. It's very beautiful there. My son has been there twice, and took a lot of pictures. 73 Paul
