In the winter we are on the lookout for signs of new life such as daffodils and snowdrops.
Every season there is something to see. Soon it will be the autumn colours, which always look great.
There were loads of daffodils out and carpets of a blue flower I had not seen before. These had star like petals but they were not aconites. At least, if they were they were a very strange variety.
There are already promises of better weather to come as this picture from yesterday shows.
We walk here most weeks. It is owned by the National Trust, so we get free entry with our annual membership. Every season there is something to see.
