Hair!!

 Back in the 1970s I still had hair! This is me using my 2m AM Fredbox to make contacts in Cambridge. It worked really well.

My wife came across this photo of me today. It shows me at a junior school sports day, in 1959 I think. My hair was hardly there as a baby and had gone in my early 20s.

This photo was taken in 1968 when I had hair and was young. These days I am bald and an old age pensioner and fatter.  By the way, this was not my boat!

The photo shows one of our grandchildren having her hair combed by her mum.

Her family is with us for a few days.

Long hair - NOT amateur radio

Our 12 year old grandson insists on having long hair. My wife cannot stand it, but this is what he wants.

Although not quite a teenager, he is quite like one in many ways. I guess we are wasting time arguing with him about it.
