PF8 Manual - NOT amateur radio
Many will remember this famous transceiver from the 1980s. It was made famous by featuring in the TV series "The Professionals". A copy of the PF8 service manual is available here.
Hi Roger, I see no mention of the internal antenna, was that always kept secret? I used to work on the blue Burndept radios, also seen on TV. I forgot the complexity we used to work to in those early days! 73 Ken g4apb
No Ken - antenna was not secret! It was my "baby" and was remarkably effective. I worked mainly on the design of the antenna and TX audio. Interesting that you were at Burndept. When I started we used Marconi 995 signal generators - they were moderately stable after about 2 hours!!
