I decided to go on 10m WSPR (500mW) and 6m JT65 (1W ERP) today. 10m has been very quiet here but I had a number of UK spots of my QRP JT65 signal on 6m. My best report on 6m JT65 was from
G0VUH (157km). So far, I have seen no evidence of Es here yet on
either band.
Hi Roger,
ReplyDeleteI heard you beaconing for the first time today when uisng JT65 on 6m via the SUWS WEB SDR.

Your timing seems to be slightly off in comparison to others.
We recently upgraded the SDR on 6m with a new mixed polarisation antenna and mast head pre-amp. This may be of use to you if you want to test antennas on that band.

Martin,
ReplyDeleteThank you. The only reason (I can think of) for timing being out is if I lost internet connectivity and the PC clock went out. It should resync to internet time every 1000 seconds as long as I can connect to the time server. I have just done a manual re-sync, so please let me know if I am still off.
