UA6AAK (2780km) has been spotted 3 times so far this morning on 10m WSPR. I assume this is single hoop F2. He is strong.
UPDATE 1045z: These are the 10m WSPR spots so far today. Not at all bad so far.
UPDATE 1908z: After a promising start on 10m WSPR, the day was a bit of a disappointment. I have gone QRT on all bands now as there was threat of thunder. These were all the 10m WSPR spots today.
10m is quite alive today. The (Russian) radar booming in, several African stations on, 4X6 beacon strong, often audible on the 100mW stroke, so sometimes S/N>30dB.

VK6XT and EA8 spotted on WSPR
Hearing the PT9BCN beacon already around noon.
Solar flux is a bit up again at 96, and the K is low, so I would expect decent signals this afternoon.
I am thinking of building a simple monitoring RX for 28.200 - the International beacon frequency on 10m. a simple superhet with 24MHz XO and a 3.2MHz Xtal ladder filter should do.

Oops ! I meant 25MHz XO and a 3.2 MHz ladder filter for the RX I have the XO, should order some 3.2MHz Xtals.
