As it took much longer than I expected to (nearly) complete my tax return, it will now be tomorrow that I will get on JT65 and JT9-1. Apparently I owe the Inland Revenue much more than I thought. I am sure I must have made a mistake. My XYL says look at the form again tomorrow when my head is clearer. She is dead right.
Good luck with the JT modes, Roger.
ReplyDeleteI assume that you will be doing WSPR when not in front of the radio, so I have now, finally got a decent setup for receiving WSPR/WSJT.
I am using the WSJT-X program, and my FT-817 with an active whip antenna (An old Dressler ARA60), so for now receive only.
I started off having an unstable massive interfering signal all over the passband, an it turned out to be my older SMPS. Some interference reduction measures are in order ;) .
Overnight it will be watching WSPR on 630m, so we just *might* get lucky. I do get spots (even with the SMPS interference), so I am interested to see what I can "hear".
