Sunspots and 10m - June 26th 2015

Sunspot number has fallen further to 33 (K=3) and 10m propagation is expected to remain "poor" at least for F2 propagation. Both 10m and 6m have got off to a promising start on Es though. Maybe today we'll see some transatlantic DX on 10m and 6m by Es?

  1. Roger, I have been listening on 20m this morning. I only heard 1 german station on a entire quiet band. But remember from last year that it is very normal for the time of the year with low sun spots as well. 6m conditions are promising now. I have been spotted by 4X1RF (3202km for me) and this is certainly a record on 6m WSPR for me. Transmitting now with 800mW (with calculated loss of about approx 200mW). Certainly not bad. Very curious if this will be the day for us to spot (or get pots) transatlantic. Good luck. 73, Bas
