Caribbean on 10m WSPR
FG5LA (6689km) in FK96ef (Guadaloupe) was spotting my 500mW 10m WSPR at 1140z this morning. This bodes well for the USA and Canada later. I am pretty sure this is the first time I have been spotted in Guadaloupe.
Good work David. I think your antenna is quite a bit better than mine on 10m. You manage on 50mW what I need 500mW to do, suggesting your antenna is 1-2 S points better. It could be that mine is more directional? ClearlyI have no major lobes in the FG5 direction, HI.
As far as I know the first time FG appears on WSPR. I turned the HB9CV and give it a go. It would be WSPR DXCC nr. 76 for me...73, Bas
ReplyDeleteThanks Bas. I have spotted you 27 times now on 10m WSPR in the last 2 weeks. Your 1W is doing fine.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the FG station receive my 50 mW at -18dB (just the once though).
